[Lowfer] Morning lowfers

Attached is an image that sequences through the lowfers (WM then EAR
then MLS) that can be copied here in daylight (local SIW is lower in
frequency sending slash code). The frequency scale of the capture
pertains to the last signal, MLS.

WSPR signals overnight here from WG2XXM were especially strong. That
should have made for easy copy of NDBs GR (TX) and HHW (OK) on 323 kHz,
but neither was seen. The problem with the former was perhaps the
presence of the 324 kHz DGPS station in Hudson Falls, NY. The latter
has been reported at a strange offset (only about 880 Hz) and that
should have been enough to avoid desense. Perhaps it's moved back to a
normal offset around 1 kHz.

Another local listener reported reception of NDB GTN in the DC area. I
didn't think that was credible because the heading difference from the
DGPS station isn't large. Nonetheless, time was spent looking for it
with the DGPS station nulled as best it could be with a 10' shielded
loop a la VE7SL. The DGPS background was still noticeably above the
noise floor but allowed several other NDBs to come through (EBS, HHW,
and OUK). Nothing was noticed around 1025 Hz offset with 8 second cycle
time, as expected. However, every so often the DGPS station faded back
into the noise for several minutes. That occurred around 1100Z and sure
enough GTN was evident. The longer cycle time than the others helped
confirm the source.
