VLF has been up and down here this season. Alpha stations have been pretty good 
the past day or so but earlier in the week they were either off the air or 
condx were very poor. Suppose I could have checked EU grabbers for confirmation 
... but didn't. Was surprised by the signal level from SAQ this morning. Previous best receptions, oddly enough, were during the summer transmissions.
