Mike, WSPR and WSPRX decoding is very good but not perfect. Surely the
DF7FC is a bogus decode - it was decoded by many Europeans at 2306Z
rather than 2304Z and at a frequency of 0.475683, not 0.475633. Also,
the power level is +30, not 16. As to PY0EDJ, the old logger at
http://www.wsprnet.org/olddb?mode=html&band=2190&limit=2006&findcall=&findreporter=&sort=date
shows no one reported decoding anything at 2344Z. The transmit power of
43 doesn't seem likely either.
Right now a 3-hr MF view of the WSPR map at
http://www.wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/map shows a decode of YZ7QWP by a
single station. That's obviously not real either. But given the very
large number of decodes that are correct the falsing rate is
impressively low.
