JD & All: A much quieter RF environment Sat evening through Sunday evening.

Copy on WH2XND overnight on 137.5 wspr2 with many decodes at -30 SNR or
higher, two at -33 SNR.

Seems like my 120Hz harmonics completely dissappeared on 137 kHz after
sunset last night, but they did reappear a few dB out of the noise this
morning. By lunch time, 137 was fairly quiet with the Sun burning off
whatever moisture in the neighborhood off the power grid hardware which
seems like a plausible cause of the harmonic interference.

VE3OT with a fairly quiet background

Followed by EAR with very quiet conditions

and SIW later in afternoon/early evening. I believe the signals under SIW
are local in nature....

I apologize for the QRSS freq calibrations being off a bit....

The new low-Z AC mains/shack ground continues to amaze me. I have two shop
lights in the basement with 48inch 20W tubes that always made lots of racket
on an old Bendix 526 AM radio in the shop with the florescent lights on.
That noise is no longer audible. Similar for a few lamp dimmers in the
house. Between the improved ground system and reworking all my critical
ground connections to eliminate non-compatible metals junctions, the noise
on my house wiring has largely vanished--at least audibly using an FT-817
and rubber duck antenna as a multiband RF sniffer...
