[Lowfer] TAG overnite with SIW

John, Garry & All:  SIW was copyable essentially all night here in EN90xn last evening/morning.  TAG showed up around 0500 through about 0845 as a solid signal, otherwise in & out of 

noise here during the overnight time period...

I also was looking for WM but no trace ever seemed to come out of the noise here.

Overnight I had the NE/SW EWE antenna in an unterminated omni mode and the NW EWE antenna combined with it via a magic-T type combiner.

Not sure of the resulting pattern but I would think listening on the NW antenna should give be a better signal level from SIW. It turns out I get a better

signal level from SIW with the two antennas combined.  My assumption is somehow the combiner is cancelling some local noise better what a single antenna can provide....

but I'm still scratching my head on this one.  The two antennas are more or less at right angles to each other and centered  in the same area that is perhaps 50 x 50 feet or so

square (hence the 70ft EWE horizontal length as hypotenuse.)  Perhaps I have something intermittent in the system, further observations and checks appear to be necessary....
