After looking in on 137 kHz, I tuned up to 1750 meters just after 7 PM CDT.
Immediately got a good signal from SIW at 185.185 so I assumed it had
already been through its pre-sunset fade. But maybe not. It stayed solid
through sunset and into the following hour, then faded quite badly. That
capture was at QRSS60.
Meanwhile, up at the watering hole itself, I was able to recognize WM,
though very faintly. The latter trace, unfortunately, was set at QRSS30.
WM was pretty nearly gone from view by 8 PM CDT.
After these captures, I turned my attention to WSPR at 630 m. Lots of new
unfamiliar calls since my last WSPR trip to the field! I'd love to list
them right now, but my eyes are too bleary so I'll do it in the morning.
Meanwhile, my loggings are in the database.
