Garry:  I do copy some QRSS3 in the 500Hz bandpass of my FT-817 IF receiver 
tuned to 3.479.9MHz  (3.0MHz LO for LF converter)

Seems to be enough rapid fading to prevent a proper call sign decode.  If I 
sat there for an hour I might get lucky and capture a call sign,

not sure it is worth the effort....  no oscillatory emissions up 20Hz at 
this location, just a carrier up 22~23 Hz...
