Hi Garry: Thanks for report - also got a call from Bill, VE2IQ. Checked all
the eqpt. transmitter, phasemeter, andtenna tuner (outside) at 0F ! ! ! !
and all seemed well for a few minutes - then phase meter suddenly shows
"off-resonance" and so no
loop current of course. Checked connectors, etc, etc....only common element
was the loop.
Try pulling a 340 foot loop through and across branches in the snow.   It
appears that there was a short or open in the loop ( the portion  made of
RG-59 ) and the shield rubbing on the branch was giving me an intermittent
situation.

I have two loops in parallel - and one was made with RG59 - and so one of
the parallel loops shorted/opened and resonance went way off.
Did some fixes, moved the loop around and changed the contact points. Seems
very steady now - for the past 24 hours.
Normal antenna line current of ~18 amps.
Would have not noticed as quickly without the reports - so thanks to both
for passing along reports.
