I was running two receivers with the IF out from my RAY6 Mini Circuits DBM converter split.  The WA3TTS capture was my

FT-847 receiver in USB mode with 1800Hz Collins xtal filter and some moderate audio DSP and noise reduction.  ACER Aspire One

(Atom) PC with the internal sound card at 16 bits and 48K sample rate.  


No copy on WH2XND with my FT-817 and TCXO-9 IF receiver with 500Hz Collins CW Mechanical  filter

(~2500Hz wide at 60dB down ) into the Xonar USB external sound card and ACER V5 dual core at 24 bits 48K sample rate running as WA3TTS/2.  


IF Splitter was a Merrimac PBD-20-100 and LF converter LO an Isotemp OCXO127-19.  


 So the better RF front end and audio DSP in the FT-847 and lower quality 16bit internal sound card and Atom based PC beat the FT-817 and 24bit external Xonar sound card with and dual-core PC.....


Based on other prior experience, if I had the Xonar 24bit external sound card and ACER dual core machine on the FT-847 I might have been able to squeak another 2dB SNR into the XND capture....


Very neat  630M WSPR2 Capture.... first "1W" 630M station received here at that kind of distance, usually 1200 miles or so is about my limit for a "1W" 630M station....
