Hi all: I wonder if anyone else has the same issue.. I run XP - SP3 and it does not matter
whether I use my Sound Blaster PCI card, or the On Board sound; ARGO will not stay
calibrated.. I can start the program multiple times and be dead on calibration, then at some
random time, start the program, and be 3-1/2 Hz off .. If it goes high, I recalibrate, and it
works for a time, then will jump calibration again at some random point, and then go low..
It also does not matter whether I use the original small ARGO, the extended version, or
the current Grabber version.. They all 3 do the same thing.. Uninstalling, and Reinstalling
does not solve the problem.. I have tried using ARGO on a Win98SE machine with a
different sound card and it happend after a period of time on that box too.. This is an
issue that I have tried to figure out ever since I started using ARGO.. For the record;
Spectrum Labratory do not show this issue, and if my memory serves me correctly; I have
had Spectran to jump calibration, but I don't use it like I do ARGO..
I have everything updated to the latest " what-ever's " , and all my sound drivers have
been updated to the latest versions..
In a wide window, it's easy to catch, and correct it, but in a narrow window, it can be a
problem to notice.. On other thing.. It has jumped calibration " During " a session, and
that has me looking in the wrong place without knowing it.. Thanks for any solutions
that the list members may have found..
