[Lowfer] Power Amp Question

I currently have the Amp installed inside the plastic Helix Can.  It is 
built on a homemade PC board and is not RF shielded.  As I look at 
pictures of other beacons on the web, I can't decide what others have 
done.  Should I put the amp inside a grounded metal can?  Should the LP 
Filter be isolated and shielded?
