Thought John might still be transmitting so ran deep search opera 32
over night. Signals from the west are still relatively poor, but were
good enough to produce the following decodes:
2015-01-05 11:30:40 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.760Hz 16mHz -44.6dBOp 95% 18.0dB
2015-01-05 10:13:16 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.739Hz 13mHz -38.0dBOp 100% 18.0dB
2015-01-05 09:40:30 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.737Hz 25mHz -43.3dBOp 81% 17.0dB
2015-01-05 09:07:42 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.715Hz 39mHz -44.0dBOp 90% 17.6dB
2015-01-05 08:34:56 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.697Hz 82mHz -43.2dBOp 98% 18.2dB
2015-01-05 08:02:08 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.670Hz 6mHz -40.4dBOp 100% 19.4dB
2015-01-05 06:23:48 VE7BDQ 2784km 137504.681Hz 11mHz -44.0dBOp 100% 18.1dB
That was after a lot of hassle getting the deep search program to run.
When it was originally used on a Windows XP machine last year it was
necessary to preclude analysis of the high end of the FFT. Otherwise it
would halt with warnings in German. Now it wants the full FFT or it
fails. Go figure. Great thing about Windows - run it twice, get two
different results.
