Thanks Michael - conditions weren't brilliant but not at least awful and I was detected by 9 stations on WSPR and a couple more (Neil, Mark and others - thanks!) on DFCW which certainly has the edge.

Thought Id share this to how close you were - this is my closest time stamped capture to yours as a compare

I can give about another 2-3dBs of power here but the spectre of a forest fire doesn't make me sleep at night so I made the Inv L as low voltage as I could over the longest length by making it just shy of a quarter wave long but in doing so Ive lowered the effective height of the 72ft vertical section a bit - and its still in the middle of a Boreal Birch forest after all... but I do sleep at night.

K increased up here over night from 06Z as a sector boundary passed I think - as Au was seen, Over the pole to Eu on 136 was a bust with little to no signals from DCF39

Wont be on tonight rx or tx as we are doing some 6m "preventative maintenance" but would like to try again.

The QRP labs Ultimate U2 driver Im using for the W1VD PA is a marvelous device, and Im hoping to get the U3 running over the next week which will add Opera mode to the symphony. I built it about 6 months ago but not had priority to put it in a box and connect.

Laurence KL7 L WE2XPQ - XPQ went Qrt at 1700z this morning at dawn.
