Propagation was pretty good in all directions last night here. Copied
SJ, WM, and TAG at the lowfer watering hole, with TAG coming in as well
as I recall this whole winter listening season.
NDBs from the south were very good. GPS on 309 kHz, BOG on 340 kHz, and
PIE on 400 kHz from Columbia were easily copied, as was the Panama DGPS
station on 302 kHz. The California DGPS station on 321 kHz is often
copied but Chico on 318 kHz was in there too (unusual receiving with an
eprobe because Summerfield, TX usually captures the frequency). And
along with the good signals from the west, the 288 kHz station in Cape
Ray,NL was also decoding fine.
Plenty of west coast decodes on 474.2 kHz WSPR were made, but despite
the good propagation WG2XSV wasn't among them. Nor were the two BC NDBs
on 260 kHz, even though NY on 350 kHz was very strong.
