Ive found the most productive approach is to locate the offending pole, or at least narrow it down 
to a couple poles, myself before calling the the power company. Competent power company RFI sleuths 
seem to be few and far between. If you can pinpoint the offending pole they seem to be more than 
happy to check connections and look for problems.
