True - month after month after month - absolutely stable. I use a phase
meter, indicating resonance. Quite precise - and indicates whether I need
more or less inductance. Suddenly went full scale - indicating more
inductance was suddenly required.... so I have lost some of the loop.
Really two loops in parallel. The one loop is double wire of 2 strands of
#10 with spacers, and the other loop is RG8/U.
I think I will be spending some time looking for breaks in the coax or the
two strands. A lot of wear and tear on tree branches, and the -20C makes
things a little brittle after several years.
Of course, the best time to do antenna work is when the temp is <0 , isn't
it ?
