Dex, John, Jay & All: I am also seeing the 153 kHz signal to the NE at 50
deg as the strongest carrier level. I am a few mHz high w/o GPS reference
here.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/alr73t62au2ji7e/capt00033.jpg?dl=0 -44.1 about
26dB above my average background noise level (-70 ~ -72 )
Switching to SW 230 degrees the carrier drops to -56.4 or about 12dB F/B

That is close to what EZNEC predicts in my cardio null for 153 kHz...

I switched to my NW EWE at ~305 degrees and the 153 carrier came up
to -51.5, about 7.4 dB down from the 50 degree heading and -44.1
and within a dB of the EZNEC pattern prediction for ~ 100 degrees off the
main lobe. No convenient way to get a SE antenna signal level here, as
I have not added an A/B switch to that end of the rx system yet....
NE would be my best guess, but my 1dB beam width is likely +/- 45
degrees....
