Had nearby storms develop here over night but the west coast stations
decoded fairly well anyway when the receivers were fired up. Shut them
down a couple times to protect against lightning. Like others have
found, propagation has really perked up recently. Listened with both an
eprobe and a 10' loop. Generally they're well-matched but when the loop
was reaimed NW it produced SNRs several dB better then the eprobe for
the west coast stations, even though the storms were 100 miles to the
west and thus not in the loop nulls.
