[Lowfer] Transmitting loops

I was thinking about the options for LowFER beacon transmit antennas when an
idea came to me. Picture a square loop, 50 feet per side, and in a vertical plane
and viewed from above. Reach out with an imaginary hand and grasp the upper
horizontal section. Rotate it 90 degrees in either direction so that the upper wire
is orthogonal to the bottom wire. This twist, of course, would make what was the
vertical sides into slopers that are also orthogonal to each other. Is an isotropic
radiator created doing this? I've constructed such an antenna as described, for
the 70cm band, and it seemed to do so. Perhaps it wouldn't scale for LF or MF.
