Dave,

   Further to my earlier response. This idea of using a UAV to hoist a wire 
antenna  is not new or unique, I know of several hams who have done this 
sucessfully.
Some Canadian hams had a short write-up in QST magazine (in the Strays 
column) where the did exactly the same thing, and I know of a ham in Maine 
who has used a quadcopter to loft antennas in trees.
