[Lowfer] 10 mW into SE Kansas on 630 m

It took until nearly midnight for anyone other than XXM to show up, but 
somebody (apparently) in CN83 achieved a partial decode at 0440.  Then at 
0448, XIQ finally made it at 10 mW!  There have been two more decodes of XIQ 
since, including one showing -30 dB. (

On the other hand, there were traces of the XIQ signal visible on the 
waterfalls as early as 0428, just below the QRM, that I thought would 
decode, and several since, but which didn't.  FWIW, static seems to be 10 dB 
over S9 tonight, appreciably worse than last night; but this may wax and 
wane over time as the signal levels are doing.  I'd like to keep going 
overnight, but I don't know if I'll survive a third night of napping in the 
truck seat to guard the radio stuff and keep everything charged up. :)  I 
will continue a bit longer, though, just to see what happens.
