Hi All: I had the RAY-6 Level 23 LF~HF mixer in a small cast aluminum Bud box my midnite or so and replaced the ZLW-1
mixer in my current "on the bench" LF converter setup. Ran the LO at it's +17 level with a 3dB pad on
the LO port for +14 input.... some overnite wspr2 signals recieved with it...

Also had one XSH/20 partial call capture around 0900.....
My SW EWE antenna is down 4~5 dB off the main lobe level for the XSH/20 direction.
Weak MSKs copied at 18.3 and 21.4 kHz last nite with the RAY-6. I have not heard the 18.3 kHz MSK
for a month or so with the ZLW-1 mixer. First impression is the background noise level below 100kHz seems quieter
with the RAY-6 and overload images are barely noticeable on XJM on the wsprx waterfall when I listen in the NE direction.

So far it seems to be worth the $$ to move to the RAY-6. It will be interesting to see how it hears on 29.5 kHz next time ZM
or DEX decides to run some TX tests....
