Hi Neil, sorry to report no copy here in PSK31 or CW. Even if signal
levels had been a few S-units better, I would not have been able to discern
the CW by ear anyway with the powerhouse WSPR signals just above you.
But...I was apparently able to SEE your carrier on my 3-second Argo display
during the PSK31 intervals! At least, the repetition rate looks right.

I spent the first hour in the field looking for DK7FC, since there's now
only a very short time the whole path to here is in darkness. No luck
there, although I saw snippets of a couple of other signals too intermittent
to identify. After that I went to 630 m.

In between attempts to copy you in PSK, I tried running WSPR X in WSPR 2
mode to see who all was on. According to the waterfall, there were up to
four WSPR signals on at a time before midnight here, though not all of them
were within the decoding passband. Unfortunately, the software (which used
to run just fine for me) now seems to crash at the start of the decoding
cycle, with no error message on screen...the reception time slot ends, and
the software simply closes. Would've had no idea who was on at all if it
weren't for XIQ's CW ID. I'll have to look and see if there's a newer
version of WSPR X available, I guess.

Went back to using WSPR 2.0 with its much less friendly interface (I really
like seeing a live waterfall when I'm trying to get the tuning right), but
by then only XIQ and XXM were still coming in. Neither one was a challenge
to copy. XIQ's CW was plenty strong and clear, and XXM was loud enough for
AM telephony!
