[Lowfer] Audio Noise Floor Measurements on my TS450S

Hi all:

I " heard  " an increase in volume level  with no antenna connected while changing 
frequency from 188 KHz down to 30 KHz.. The increase was so noticable that it
caused me to wonder what is really going on with my radio at the edge of its range.
After being highly disappointed with my efforets to receive Bob - XBA/1 on 29.499 KHz,
even though it seemed that I was able to receive, The thing that really made me 
suspicious was not seeing a signal trace from Dex - XBA/4 at just over 200 miles..
I did a crude, and very non-labratory standard test today, and found out that my 
radio in essence " goes dead " below 100 KHz.. It gave verifiable reason as to why
I am unable to receive the weak Experimental signals on VLF. The details of my
test today are in the attachment for anyone who is interested in reading it..
