Tnx Bob: We shall see what happens. I found some common mode ingress last 
night after 0600 into the 3MHzLO_DBM VLF converter combination. Had a few 
shortware stations coming through around 3.2 MHz on the IF. It turned out to 
be common mode on the LO cable (LO on test bench several feet away) so I 
placed the 100kHz-30MHz isolation transfomer in the LO line to the DBM, 
which promptly solved the problem. That being the case, I should have a 
lower background noise across the converter range from this point forward.
