Jay & All: I just recalled that the common mode chokes I have on my EWE are
not very effective at VLF, their performance rolls off quickly below
100kHz.... I do have one CM choke that 50 ohm series tested at 30dB
attenuation at 30kHz on my e-probe. I should switch it over to the EWE this
afternoon for this evenings testing as the e-probe is dedicated to my boat
anchor collection and not "essential" for that purpose. Question is whether
it should go on the NE or SW feed line of the EWE antenna....I may go with
NE since I have Bob's captures from last night for potential comparison.....
So there is a chance I may be able to reduce my current noise level at 30 to
60 kHz by an order of magnitude or two with some CM choke tinkering.....
