[Lowfer] instability with MFJ 259/269 on 500Khz (after modding)

Aha!!  So my MFJ259b is not unique!!  That is good to know, Laurence. In
fact I have a 1430 AM station about 4 or 5 miles from me also. The funny
thing is, even tho my MFJ oscillator was putting out RF at 475 kHz (cuz I
could hear it on the receiver), the display read 950 kHz for example.
Sometimes I also got other readings, perhaps a third harmonic or some other
mixed freq due to that AM station.

Thanks for sharing that with me Laurence. Now I can stop trying to "fix" my
analyzer...HI
