JL,
I'm eager to see what difference the change in transmitter and duty cycle
may have made, and whether anybody else has made it through the static that
got a lot worse during the evening.
Actually, I'm eager to see if I have ANYthing--and by that, I mean not only
decodes, but the physical hardware. The title of this thread became too
literal all of a sudden, so I hope nothing has been toasted yet by one of
Laurence's sneaky Bartlesville thunderstorms that made its way across the
border tonight. I've been stuck here in town since a severe t-storm
warning was issued, shortly after you made the change. The worst stuff
(hail) stayed south of the farm, but rain and even lightning have now
reached nearly to town. Radar is looking promising for me to return to the
field soon...if nothing new develops...but it's sure rumbling pretty good at
the moment.
