Wow.  That does suggest that perhaps Spry has been doing some 
maintenance.  Possibly it occurred while CenturyTel/embarq/CenturyLink 
was updating their DNS records.

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time explaining to them that 
it's only these particular addresses that don't resolve, and that it's 
only happening in this area.  Even Century/Embarq users elsewhere in 
the country are getting into lwca.org and my other customers just fine. 
  They keep going back to trying to find connectivity problems, despite 
the fact that the last rep had me manually enter some non-CenturyTel 
DNS addresses which resolved these sites just fine, while their own 
machines (either manually) don't.

Both pages OK here with FireFox, but the Message Board earlier 
strangely
reverted to last weekend, losing some posts that you and Laurence had
made. The MB moderator record of activity didn't show them, either.
Almosts suggests that a backup had kicked in.
