[Lowfer] LW BCs this evening

Hi All: I just started setting up for 600m rx this evening and tuned the LW AM band for kicks with my second IF receiver, hearing jazz and voices on 180kHz, (not Euro 1 on 182 )  BBC R4 on 198 kHz Q4~Q5 above noise (don't hear them often), music on 225 kHz, Ireland Q4~Q5 on 252 kHz....looks like we had a medium strength slow decay solar flare late this afternoon....73,   Mike wa3tts
