Jay, thanks for the strong signal to try opds again. Didn't do too well.
On the XP machine (k3siw-1), the FFT shows your signal strong and steady
but couldn't get any detections, although regular opera detected you
fine later. On the Win7 machine (k3siw-2), I have to run opds inside a
virtual machine but that seemed to work okay. However, the
frequency-spread numbers were often quite large and the snr jumped all
over the place (even though visually the FFT display of your peak was
steady, as was the noise floor). This machine had enough horsepower to
run regular opera simultaneously and the snr readings with a loop were
generally a dB or two less than with the eprobe on k3siw-1. Hope some
day running the opds code is simple and reliable/repeatable.
