Mike & Mitch: Some day when the XYL & 1st Harmonic are out of the house for 
a few hours I'll have to lift the service ground and listen on the water 
well pump windings with Spectrum Lab (with the power off of course). Might 
be interesting to see what I find "down there" :).... a suitable isolation 
transformer on topside might do the trick for local noise suppression.....

or just listen on the lifted well pump ground wire that should be in direct 
contact via the stainless housing of the pump sitting in the aquafier....
