That can be done, as just today I found my stash of Sprague Black Beauty style caps!  I'm surprised that you haven't made mention of the transformer I'm using in an
attempt to Z match the loop to the PC's mic in jack.  In checking the specs on the Hammond site, I found that its frequency response is 30 Hz. to 20 kHz. + or - 1 dB.

I'll try your suggestion of the caps, both in parallel with the loop windings across the transformer's 8 ohm winding and in a series string of the three as well.  With the
cap(s) in series with the loop winding, it should result in a low Z circuit and hence a better match for the transformer.

I don't know what I'm picking up with the setup, but whatever it may be, it sure is interesting.  There are an almost musical sound to some of them, with both single
notes and complex/wide choruses, with the odd ping as well.  The neatest sound I've heard so far is like the hee-haw of U.K. police car sirens!
