J.B. I would think you at least need a diode detector and sweep the loop 
with the audio generator (assuming it goes up to a few hundred kHz) looking 
for the voltage change at resonance.....

I'd fax you my dip meter but I have not figured out the quantum entanglement 
interface for my kitchen microwave oven......
