Good morning all,
Conditions in Eastern Ontario appear to be fair to good although a bit
on the noisy side.
The signals Mike mentions, HWU and DHO I am hearing as well as usual;
HWU on 21.75 is down bit from 18.3 however. Interestingly, I don't hear
the ALPHAs but I do hear several of the BETA transmissions on
25.0/25.1/25.5/23.0 and 20.5 and the schedule at 07:00 UTC (RJH69 -
Molodechno in Belarus) was heard OK.
AS for SAQ, I monitored via the Twente online SDR for reference and
listened out on 17.2 locally. Only a few tantalizing whispers however,
could only make out the occasional bit of carrier and CW but not
copyable. I would give it a SINPO of 15331 to 15431 or RST of 217.
Jay and Laurence always seem to make out quite well. Good locations and
good equipment set up no doubt.
Back to bed for a bit more sleep.
cheers, Graham ve3gtc FN25ig (45.2N 75.2W)
