A heads-up about a new HiFER for those who don't monitor the LW Message 
Board regularly: N1NQC is operating with the ident 'A' in QRSS3 from 
Brighton, MA.  He thinks it's somewhere around 13,555.7 but if anyone 
can measure it for sure, that would be great.

Conditions on 22m so far this morning have been terrible.  I can hardly 
see even a hint of USC, EH, or NC, which are generally the most 
consistent here.  So, I dropped down the dial by a factor of 100 or so, 
and am able to see MP through the static.  Although crashes from the 
storms 150-200miles away are above S9, they are not a continuous roar 
as has been the case for the past couple of weeks.  There are one to 
three seconds at a time with a background level below S1, and that's 
letting MP come through for now.
