Something I have observed here for the last two year now is that near the equinoxes, particularly  summer >> fall but also winter >> spring, I seem to have at least one 60 hz multiple ghost that are periodically reported for about a 2 week period.  I've never explained it other than to say maybe something is changing with ground conditions impacting station ground, etc, nothing else otherwise changes.  Once it goes away, I dont see it until the next equinox and its almost never reported through winter.


Last night's event here was definitely a ground loop and has been fixed.  I had someone listen yesterday afternoon and they were not able to hear it aurally but argo does not lie.  I'm using large, well-filtered linear supplies here so its not a result of sag.
