I'm glad you caught the hum.  I did some ground work in the shack yesterday that I feared would result in a ground loop and you have confirmed it.  I will change it back.  Thanks for the report!

I'm not having as much luck seeing the Northeast WSPR stations as they 
are on the other side of the Atlantic tonight, but at least XIQ and XJM 
have been coming in thus far.

I wonder, though, if there is some 60 Hz hum incursion in XIQ's audio 
path?  Most of the evening I'd been seeing a faint trace on Argo around 
475.681 during the same time slots that XIQ and XJM were transmitting.  
It finally started decoding about local midnight, and turns out to be a 
copy of XIQ--but 60 Hz higher, and 21 to 24 dB weaker than the main 
signal.  The main signal has been showing up with anywhere from -1 to 
-9 dB reported SNR tonight, and is distinctly audible over the S6 
average noise.

Will continue looking for other stations a while longer.
