Hi All: Impressive propagation last nite. First time in 2 years of 2200m transatlantic listening I was able to receive
DK7FC's 136.172 kHz signal almost continuously from my local sunset to Stefan's local sunrise. The only
fade-out interval was at about 0100UTC, where the two dashes in the "K" faded but were still visible, and the dit
in the "K" was lost. Signals were peaking in the low -50s in ARGO QRSS60 slow much of the evening.

Here is the 5 Min GEOS plot for April 10 2014

My LF-VLF DBM receive converter is still cobbled together with patch cords on a shelf
with the 3 MHz OCXO on one of my shop benches running off a bench supply with clip leads.

The remainder of the converter is passive, with my 18' x 70' x 18' EWE antenna feeding an RF
isolation transformer and BC LPF to the reversed IF and RF ports of the ZLW-1 DBM....

After Stefan's sunrise I switched from the NE EWE transformer to the SW transformer and left the NE xfmr
untermintated, which offers a somewhat omni pattern that favors a generally west direction by a few dB at
600M. On WSPR2 I had 32 captures from WD2XSH/12 between 0546 UTC and 1030 UTC, the best being
a -12 at 1022 UTC and the weakest -27 at 0716 UTC at a distance of 2150 km. XSV was still elusive tho....
Best LF DX of the season here by far....
