JD;
Usually fade out by 7-8 oclock but condx stayed in there for you last night I see. Good sigs from both Dex and me.
It sure will be good to get the WSPR working and just download to the WSPR reporter! Lot of work putting the captures together. You must like all that work-it looks great. Dex, XRS/5 also strong sigs.
BTW;
I got e mail from Bruce, W1BW who writes the part of the WSPR program for reporting. He says he is on vacation tell end of this week and will be getting back to me first of next week to hopefully get things working. I look forward to that!
73 and keep up the good work as time permits for you-Bob

Subject: [Lowfer] XRS 4 & 5 Sunday Night

Took a while to stitch the pieces together from last night. Had an odd
thing yesterday evening...various instances of Argo that I was running
started shutting themselves off at random, just as if I'd pressed their Stop
button. Thank goodness I was running several of them, though not all were
set at the same speed. This shows up as resolution mismatches in the big
version located at http://lwca.org/mbarchiv/pix/xrs-4-5.jpg .  I also did a
cut-down version of that picture with much less information, and compressed
the heck out of it to make it work in this post. As you see, Dex showed up
just before sunset, and faded right at sunset. When he returned, the signal
was so good that both were actually more readable in QRSS30, so I
discontinued the QRSS60 capture and worked only in 30.

Was preparing to go out to the field tonight and try again, but the
radio--which had supposedly been warming up all afternoon in the mobile
listening post--was cold as a stone with its power button switched off when
I went outside a little while ago. Has Halloween arrived a month early this
year?!?
