[Lowfer] Reminder about message size limits

This is just a reminder that the LOWFER remailer has a general limit
of 50KB for message size. Anything above that will be rejected since
it is too big. The message will be discarded and I may not even notice
it happened.
The 50KB message limit is seldom a problem unless you attach an image
file to your email. Because any binary image file, like JPG or BMP
screen caps, will grow about 10% when attached to an email, you better
reduce them to 40KB or less before you attempt to send them.
Also remember that when you REPLY to an email but don't trim away the
old messages, they also add to the total message size. If there was
already an attachment and you try to add another, chances are that
your email will fail by a large amount.
Also, if you find the LOWFER remailer useful, consider sending a
donation to QTH.net to show them how much you like the service. The
hams running QTH.net have a lot of money sunk into servers and
Internet service charges and could use some help paying for it. Check
the www.qth.net web page for info about where to send your donation.
Thanks for reading and good luck with your LOWFER captures.
