Same Octoloop here - 12 footer - with base 18 feet off ground.
What is the height of your loop for these tests ?
S/N always better here with the Octoloop - compared to active antenna -
I assume some of the apparent advantage I see is because the loop
benefits from the directional characteristics compared to the vertical.
