I agree - Even the numbers are dropping here Warren - a couple of the local to Anchorage ones such as "BOB" have gone over the past year.

That being said weve had installed 5 new 100W local ones in China in the past few years :-)


Bob,
      The NDBs in the lower 48 are dying a slow death.
However they are still very much used in Alaska. I think it will be many 
years before the FAA gives up on that slice of spectrum.
