Waves of noise on 72.4 last night in 20 minute intervals 0100 to 0230 Z on 72.4. Copied an "S" at one point in a quieter
noise interval but the previous X and R were partials about 0100 ~ 0130 Z time frame.

Switched to 136.172 kHz at 0230 Z and had Stefan for half hour solid and then either the propagation went away
or he went QRT shortly after 0300 Z. Strange as I had copied him past 0330Z other nites.

Good Q5 signals from RFI on 163, Euro 1 on 183, BBC on 198 (first good copy of BBC for 20 minutes for "this fall" season), in the 0230 - 0330 Z time frame. Odd Medi 1 not it usual
self last nite. Iceland on 189 copied Q5 briefly. Partial audio mod on 153, 207, 234, 252 in the 0230 - 0330 Z
time interval.

Switched to 600M WSPR-X around 0330Z copying XIQ on the SW EWE transformer and XJM & XKA
off the back of the antenna pattern....WSPR-X also seems to be better capture (Someone (Andy ??) on list recently mentioned) and appreciate the on-screen audio
level adjustment vs going to "Control Panel" to adjust the mic level input for WSPR 2.11....

I still have one more upgraded common mode choke to build / install on SW antenna feedline, hopefully next month or two----snake antenna effect is quite
noticeable below 150 kHz.....with several retail shops in a plaza about 1,000ft to the NE of my EWE antenna and lots of local household UTP CAT5 cable noise
in the area.....An evening power outage for a few hours would be an insightful experience for sure....
