[Lowfer] XRS tonight at startup

Out here on the Plains, my results were a little different. Bob was strong
at startup but underwent a dip around 20 minutes before sunset. Dex started
out OK and got stronger right up to sunset (the yellow marker, at 6:29 PM
CDT). Both experienced a little fading after that, somewhat more intense on
/5, then recovered to a nice solid level.

The noise level was S2-S3 before sunset, up to S4 at sunset, and S5 to S7 at
the end. The noise increased slowly and steadily, while the signal
fluctuations were shorter term. Thus, most of the apparent level changes
were propagational in origin and not AGC artifacts.

On 2200 m, noise was 0 to S1 before sunset and S7 after, but MP came through
fine. At 1750 m, noise was similar to 2200, which was more of a challenge
for a Part 15 signal, but SIW came through in barely recognizable bits and
pieces. It was already down in the 30s two hours after sunset, so I
abandoned my post.
