[Lowfer] 74.5495 QRSS Daytime for hour or so...

JD;
Well done as usual! I wanted to get the HP generator warmed up a bit better than the 15 minutes I gave it but it's not too bad.
I have an OCXO [Novus] ref osc [used older unit] coming to hopefully stabilize the HP 3326A. The intake air cleaner was plugged and cleaned that this pasted week for a marked improvement.
The path from here to you maybe colder than the signal path coming from Dex. Maybe enough to tip things that way-Bob

I had to keep the Argo sensitivity low here to prevent /4 from smearing,
which resulted in /5 being harder to see. It was typically around 12 dB
lower than Bob's signal here today, for some reason. This snap started at
12 noon CDT and ended at the time shown.

I didn't run as many Argo sessions under varied conditions as I usually do,
because I took the time to do a careful frequency calibration run before the
main capture along with the usual one I do right after. That allowed me to
ascertain receiver error at both ends of the trace and deskew it in
software. Usually I can only shift the frequency scale to read correctly at
the very end, which leaves me in the dark as to whether the sender was also
drifting or only my receiver.

According to Towerhenge, my site's built-in astronomical calculator, solar
noon occured here at 1:03 PM, give or take 30 seconds, so the first two
thirds of the capture met the objective of having maximum solar radiation
between sending and receiving locations. (Actually, the tower is only one
component. The others are the markers I placed when laying out the site in
the first place, but "PVC-henge" just doesn't have the same ring to it.)
