Jay,
Thanks for the nice capture. I noticed signals to the east unusually
strong around an hour and a half before local sunrise. That may have
helped. The 185.185 kHz slash code will kick in at 1800Z today. Didn't
know about Bill and Dex's work with ramps, but not surprised. I first
tried that out a year or two ago on a Hifer, thanks to discussions with
VK2XV. To be really useful at LF I need a much longer period than the
current 90 seconds, but I'm at the parts limit for my current
integrator. Will think about how to extend it. At HF it's clear that
ramps are more easily identified than QRSS or DFCW because ramps can be
punctured by dropouts and it doesn't much matter.
