It's just that there is no skywave taking place. All the LF and even 500 is not showing much skywave propagation. I checked the WSPR site for possible "TA" and no one getting across the pond that I could see. With just the groundwave getting out your way there is none of the usual "canceling" of the signal that occurs so often with skywave prop.
Your high ground conductivity, quiet location and good RX apparatus draws ground wave signals right in! Bob

Given what I just wrote about the noise levels for MP on 137, and finding
them to be almost an S-unit worse at 74.55, imagine my amazement to see XRS4
materialize quite nicely tonight, even on my QRSS30 trace (shown here)!
