This was one of the last two nights we'll have this year that is
simultaneously warm and dry in the field, so I stayed out a little late
looking for other LF signals. Didn't see anybody at 185.3, but MP at 137.78
was nice and clear. Static was about an S-unit better on average than at
74.55, and there were more intervals between larger crashes. As with the
earlier post of XRS4 and 5, I did captures at both 60 and 30 seconds to
demonstrate that they were strong enough to view in the faster mode. This
one should be clearer, though, as it didn't need nearly so much compression
to fit. :)
Almost could discern DCF77 by ear, and did see it on Argo. Tangier was the
only LWBC here tonight, though I could almost hear France Inter.
Also did some NDB monitoring for a change of pace.
