Started watching just before 2300 and saw your first signal at 2334 UTC.
Had to turn Argo's sensitivity way, way down, even on this QRSS30 capture.
(The 60 second mode dogboned too much to be readable even with the
sensitivity almost all the way down.)
Capturing is--hopefully--still going on as I pause for supper, in case
anyone else has joined in meanwhile. There was some minor "lightning DX"
this afternoon on 74.55, and it has increased since sunset, but still no
difficulty copying. DCF77 was S5 copy before sunset, and LWBC was starting
to come in as well. France Inter was the best at that time. Shortly after
sunset, I began to receive JJY on 40 kHz faintly.
Virtually dead quiet, sferic-wise, at 2200 m and above this afternoon, as I
will report later.
